17 things I have learnt......

For any of you that do not not know I am pregnant! Yup we know that was quick! I am 17 weeks today and still not quite believing it, I am sure once I start too look pregnant it will be easier to believe! In my 17 weeks of pregnancy I have learnt....
1. Morning sickness occurs all day long nothing morning about it
2. Morning sickness stops when it wants not 12 weeks or 14 weeks or 16 weeks, fingers crossed its not something that happens for the entire time!
3. My husband is a stud.... i already knew this but this has been clarified BIG time
4.  Gaining 4lbs in 17 weeks is actually quite scary because that means one day I will wake up huge having gained the rest of the weight!
5. The first trimester is absolutely shattering- I have NEVER been so tired, even finals week can not compare! I have never been one to go to bed at 7 but for 6-7 weeks that was my life!
6. Little girls clothes are so much cuter than boys clothes.....
7. If its a girl my husband wants to use the moses basket for the exact same reason as moses mother..... note to self do not leave steve alone with baby if girl!
8. People feel the need to touch my stomach regardless of there being a bump there or not
9. EVERYONE has advice!
10. Its the one time it is acceptable to eat whenever I want!
11.  Suddenly I no longer care (as much) about shoes but when it comes to prams/ strollers/ travel systems I get ridiculously excited!
12. Picking names is hard, 2 people 2 different tastes= very hard!
13. Tuc biscuits are the best things ever invented! I could eat them alll day long!
14.  Indonesian names are definitely a no go if we want our child to have friends!
15.  It is possible that future grandparents are even more excited than we are!
16. Having a baby over winter seems a lot easier than being pregnant over the summer!
17. I am so excited to meet this little baby, March seems so far away but we are both very excited!

As soon as I start to look pregnant and not just chunky I will post some photos!

A quick catch up......

(Sorry the photos r in random places can't work out how to put them where they should be!)
Well I've realised I haven't blogged in a long time so I should get back on it, we've had lots of fun recently but the biggest announcement is I am pregnant! Baby Mateer is due March 24th 2010, I would put up belly photos but at the moment there isn't anything to really see but as soon as there is I'll get them up!
I think the highlight of the last month for Steve is he took me to my first Arsenal Match! Arsenal vs West Brom and "we" won 2-0 it was a very exciting game, with a west brom player getting sent off for punching an arsenal player! Right in front of us! I thought i'd just sit there and try and get into it but I was well into it! I loved singing along with the chants although I didn't get a lot of them! I mean we weren't even playing Tottenham but we had to keep standing up coz we hate them...... wierd! But I had a great time!
This summer seems to of been the summer of people getting married! Everyone we know has got married or engaged! Heres a few photos from the few we've been too!

Other than that we've just been getting our heads around we're going to be a mummy and daddy! Trying to find names we can BOTH agree on! We've got just under 6 months left so hopefully we'll figure something out by the time baby actually gets here!

Obviously I was meant to be a hairdresser.....

Well this past weekend Steve was in serious need of a hair cut but was not wanting to pay for one so decided i should do it!
Yep I was really nervous! If i messed up i would still have to walk around next to him and act like i know him. Well after like an hour we realised I am actually a pro! Steve reckons it was the best haircut he ever got ( sure he was just being nice!) Such a handsome man!

The adventures of newlyweds!

I'm having some serious problems with the internet so there may not be photos with this blog! The past few weeks we've had a great time building our furniture to make our flat more of a home as opposed to just a big old bunch of rooms! Even though a new appliance breaks practically every day at the moment we have no oven which is always an adventure trying to cook!
We had lots of fun berry picking a few weekends a go it was a great date and Steve loved it because it was "cheap". I got dinner to the Harvester ( my fav!) as I just could not be bothered to cook one night! Then I got really lucky and my gorgeous husband cooked a nice indonesian meal for me! 2 nights of not cooking in one week!
I got a great recipe from our friend Holly for Banana Rama Muffins and they are delicious! I am officially an amazing house wife :)
Anyway I should prob do something housewifey n get the washing on! Such excitement! But I have to admit I LOVE being married!

In the Beginning.........

We finally did it! I've been wanting to start a blog for AGES.... n now we've finally got around to it!
We figure by starting a blog it means we will have to make sure our lives stay exciting!
Steve and I dated for a year and half before we got married for time and eternity in the London Temple on May 30th!
It was an amazing day...the best ever in fact! We got lucky with the weather and the only hitches involved me being late (oppps) and us having to hitch a lift back to the reception with the photographer when my mum left with our car keys!

Having this blog also means we're guna have to take a tonne more pictures! Especially of our little flat and the things we're getting up too!
Can't wait for the rest of our adventures to begin!
Need to get the hang of this whole blogging thing thats for sure! Hopefully they will get better and more interesting to read!
